Beth Serna, artist and interior decorator from NYC now ready to work with you in the city of Richmond, Virginia.
Graduating with a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and working as a scenic artist for over a decade on movies, television and broadway productions are two steps that prepared me to become a designer. The other part that prepared me was my fine art background; having the eye for color and composition are my attributes that set me apart from other designers. I have vision when looking at spaces when it is difficult for others to see.
I love combining old and new things together when designing furniture and rooms. My favorite place to source are estate sales, antique shops and auctions. I also enjoy incorporating “loved” or sentimental pieces from clients homes. I think adding vintage pieces and “loved” objects adds soul and personality to a home.
My goal is to help making decorating and designing your home easier and less overwhelming. From picking the perfect colors for your walls, making a layout that suits your lifestyle, or even styling your bookshelf, I am here to make your space feel like home.
